Eastern Rise

A master planned 90ha dairy to kiwifruit greenfield conversion and 100 person accommodation facility. 

The Project

Eastern Rise is a master planned greenfield orchard development in Edgecumbe that will yield 90ha of producing Sungold kiwifruit and a 100 person seasonal accommodation facility across 13 titles.

Our Approach

Stratum partnered with the developer for the project from its inception to completion. Assisting with feasibility analysis, orchard layout and design to best suit the future subdivision needs, civil and geotechnical engineering associated with access, irrigation pond and accommodation facility and obtained all necessary resource consents. During the construction phase Stratum provided survey set out, as-built and land title surveying for the subdivision along with civil and geotechnical engineering supervision.

Project Outcome/Solution

The outcome is a high production kiwifruit development that supports the local community with job creation and industry leading accommodation facilities.
