One thing that is consistent at the moment is the constant change. The most recent change to Alert Level 3 is the news we have been waiting for. As we move into Alert Level 3 from Tuesday 28th April 2020 we will be able to operate even more efficiently and productively.
So, from Tuesday 28th April, Stratum will be operating as follows:
All office based work including design, plan preparation, reports, consent applications, etc will continue with our staff working from home. This arrangement has proved to work seamlessly during Alert Level 4 and will continue through Alert Level 3.
Please contact us via mobile or email as you normally do. If you’re unsure who to contact, then please call our main land lines and Megan will be able to help you.
All fieldwork including surveying, geotechnical testing and site inspections will resume from Tuesday 28th April.
We have ensured robust Health & Safety Protocols are in place for all staff going out to our Client sites. These are based on NZ Construction Sector Protocols (CHASNZ) and site specific guidelines developed by NZ Kiwifruit Growers (NZKGI).
These Health & Safety protocols are designed to keep you and our staff safe and include details of how physical distancing, hygiene, cleaning and contact tracing will be implemented.
Advance preparation is essential, so please contact us as early as you can to arrange site inspections or other field work.
Many of our staff have in depth knowledge of our local area and site conditions, and have continued to provide quality advice to Clients during Alert Level 4.
Some of you have already started looking forward to the recovery phase and are considering concept designs, feasibility studies, consent applications, etc. This is a sensible approach to allow some programme momentum to continue. We discussed this front foot approach in our previous article “Forward planning amid uncertain times”.
We do encourage you to think about continuing with the “soft elements” of your projects. Please contact us if you need further assistance in this regard.
Small steps, but at least we’re moving forward now as we go to Alert Level 3.
