Shae has been practising as a professional planner since 2005. 

Shae is a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute and a Member of the Resource Management Law Association (RMLA).  His qualifications include a BA (Geography) and Masters in Regional and Resource Planning (MRRP) both obtained from the University of Otago. 

He is experienced in all Subdivision, Land Use resource consent and Regional consenting matters, along with providing Resource Management Act RMA planning expertise across the rural, residential and commercial sectors. Projects include small and large-scale rural, residential, industrial, and commercial subdivision developments (including Private, Council and Māori led/owned developments), large scale retirement village developments, Papakāinga developments, rural horticultural developments, kiwifruit post-harvest developments and various other land use developments.
